Girl Names...

We are trying to get LOTS of ideas for names. After having Ari, and finding none of our names worked, we decided to poll for names. That way if this one is born and none of the name work, we can have some more to look at and fall back too. So post away! :D

Some of the names we have so far are:

Hannah Elizabeth

Ally Mckenzie

Sarah Elise

So if you have any great ideas, let us know! ;)

We heard a few others on Sunday (like Lindsey) ...Thanks for more ideas. Keep them coming.

** Sieben commented "How about Annie May? Pretty clever, eh? You could even raise her on all of Jon's Japanese cartoons. :) Oh, yeah." **

** Melanie commented "I really liked the Hannah Elizabeth. Dont ask Adam and I for suggestions, we have a hard enough time figuring out ones for our own kids. Good thing we dont play barbies cause they would all be named john, jane, ken, barbie and maybe skipper." **

** Sieben commented "Ella Rachelle, Rita Skeeter, Anne, Bridgette, Birgitte, Or you could go old school: Alma, Fran, Mattilda, Gwendollyn (Although I actually like that one, Gwen for short.), Ginger, Bonnie. Well, that was fun. I hope some of those help (as well as entertain.)" **

** Moo commented "What great posts...at least we have been entertained! :P Annie May..right Sieb! We got a chuckle!" **

** Jamie commented "I'm going with Sieben on Rita Skeeter! Hahaha...that was awesome! As far as my suggestion...let's see...I'll give a few: Halley, Hailey, Kimberly, Olivia, April, and... Amber. P.S. my phone is having issues and I lost a chunk of my contact list...needless to say you were part of that loss...can you send me your number! Love ya! Jamie" **

It's a GIRL!

Hey everyone we went in for our 20 week ultrasound today! It is a little girl. :D We are excited. Well for the most part. When we told Adam he said, "Why? I don't want it to be a girl." He's been hoping for a boy, as many of you know. He's been planning on a little Jo-Jo. I'm sure he'll love her. He's already a good big brother.

Anyway, she is measuring just right, so that is good news! (Especially after Ari) ;) So we are still due on Thanksgiving. (November 27th) Thanks to all who have kept us in their prayers. We really appreciate it! We are glad this one is doing SO well!

We have posted a few pictures in the gallery too! Under the New Baby album. :)

Here is another picture though... she just layed there with her ankles crossed during the ultrasound and kept moving her head from side to side. Kind of like, "Stop bothering me, I'm trying to take a nap!" These are her two little feet!

** Sieben Commented "That is so exciting! Poor Adam. I'm sure Ari will be thrilled, though." **

4th of July Weekend

We had a fun 4th of July weekend. It actually started on Thursday (3rd). We took the kids to the zoo. The kids love to see the animals! It was really hot though. When we got there Adam wanted to see the giraffes first...so we headed that way. (But we actually saw lots of animals on the way... monkeys, elephants, rhinos, bears, cougar, zebras, penguins and a few others.) Adam didn't seem to mind. ;) Ari loved the animals too. We enjoyed watching the baby orangutans playing.

That night we went up to Grandma and Grandpa Smoot's house to roast marshmallows and camp out in their backyard. Jon and I had smores! YUM!!! :D Adam learned to be careful when you are walking around fires. He tripped over my roaster and knocked it out of the fire and fell on it. It burned his hand, poor kid. We felt bad for him. After the marshmallows and smores we put the kids to bed...sort of. It took a while. They finally fell asleep about 11pm. But they were SO EXCITED to be in a tent. They both love camping.

Adam woke us the next morning (4th) at 5:50 am. He stood up and said, "It's light! It's morning!" Both Jon and I told him that it was TOO early, but he seemed intent on being awake and waking his sister. Both were SO tired. We cleaned up the tent and went to our ward's breakfast. It was yummy; pancakes, sausage/ham, hashbrowns, fruit, yogurt, and milk/oj/chocolate milk. Ari ate like a champ...which was good because she didn't eat well the rest of the weekend. (She got a fever and diarreah and was miserable later that afternoon) Adam, on the other hand, was a PILL! He cried and hid under the table until everyone around us had gone and then he came out and ate the last 10 minutes. (I think he was TOO tired!)

Anyway..after breakfast we went to the Centerville parade. It was fun. The kids loved catching the candy, and Adam was so excited to get a little toy airplane. (One of the military guys was having kids get down and do pushups for the airplanes...Adam got down right next to him and watched him.) Adam also got a bag, which he is still carrying around. :P

We then let the kids have naptime!!! Since they fell asleep coming home from the parade; they were both tired from waking so early. We got everything together and at noon went to Riverdale. Jon, Adam and Sieben played in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament. They we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Morgan.

At 6 we went to Jen's grandma's house and went swimming with Chris, Jen, Grant, KelliAnn, and Noah. (Ari and I didn't so that she wouldn't get any diarreah in the pool.) It was fun. Jon, Chris and Grant all jumped in at the same time...half the pool emptied! j/k But it did cause a SUPER big splash.

We then hurried to see fireworks with the Smoots. We were hoping Adam and Mel would still be there, but due to a very tired Kale they went home to put him to bed. Ah...kids. The fireworks were fun and the banana splits were good. :)

On Saturday (5th), Jon helped our neighbors (the Lisonbe's) move. When he got back he mowed the lawn. Then we had barnyard waffels for breakfast. We then washed and cleaned both cars. They were SO dirty. We then went up to the Smoot's to play a few games with Adam and Mel. (We are trying to see them before they move to Texas next week. Adam starts law school in the fall.)

We then heasded up to the Morgan's for dinner and fireworks in their cul-de-sac. It was a fun little party. We also played bocci ball and the kids played horeshoes with Grandpa.

On Sunday (6th) we went to Benjamin' baby blessing. It was fun to get together with everyone for that special occasion. :)

As you can see we had a GREAT and busy 4th weekend. We had fun using our HUGE jean quilt too. :D

** Sieben commented "Yeah, it was a very busy weekend, wasn't it? *sigh* I think I am still exhausted from from it. The basketball tournament reminded me how nicely we play basketball together as a family. It was significantly more rough and intense at the tournament. I love playing ball with the family where cooler heads prevail (generally.) Ari was cute during the fireworks. She was so worried and scared that she would move from person to person, sitting on their laps, and burying her face in their shoulders." **
