Rylee's Halloween Party

On Saturday, we went to Rylee's Halloween Party. The kids were so excited that they had been invited, and Adam asked how long til Saturday for a week! It was such a blast to watch the kids have so much fun! They thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

When we got there the kids decorated cupcakes. Adam didn’t want to, but Ari was all about the treats! (Adam was a little cranky when we got there because he had fallen asleep on the way down…hence not wanting to participate or wear his flash mask.Undecided Just the costume, which he put on WAY before it was time to go. )

The kids then went out to do a piñata. Adam was SO excited. He LOVES piñatas. Jon had a great time pretending to talk for the mummy piñata and moving it around on the kids. Adam was really excited because he was the one who actually broke it open. I'm so proud of my boy! :P

After the piñata, we had pizza for dinner. (Always a success with my kiddos…they love it.) Next they did a spider toss. So the kids took turns throwing bean bag spiders.

The last activity was a mummy wrap. Lucky Devin and Alma were wrapped up with TP by all the kiddos. It was way fun to watch them figure it all out. Adam started tying the TP to get it to stay. Ari also had fun trying to get it to stay on. Then she decided that Alma was boring and tried putting on Kambrie. She chased her all around tossing pieces of TP on her head and laughing. Undecided (The whole time she was chasing poor, little Kambrie around and trying to hold her…silly girl!)

Anyway, the party was a hit! We were so glad that Dani and Rylee invited the kids. They had so much fun. There are pictures in the gallery under 2008 Halloween Party. Hope you enjoy them! :D

My Pretty Little Princess

So a quick little blog. Ari has a bunch of dress-up clothes. She is really into these green high heel shoes and a little hula skirt. So today, she came upstairs all decked out in that and a green boa with a purse. She told me, "Mommy, pincess, pretty." So I told her she did look like a pretty princess. Then Adam came up with about 3 or 4 more purses for her. And helped her get them all on. Needless to say we had to do a photo-shoot of my pretty princess all decked out. Some of the pictures ended up in Ari's Album in the gallery. Enjoy! She really is my pretty little princess!

Baby Update

So update...baby is fine. I have the antibodies so no worries. :D WHAT A RELIEF! Everything looks good and I am growning and gaining weight. :) ( You are supposed to be happy you are getting bigger and weighing more, right?) Anyway...here's to 6 more weeks! We are almost there!

New Picture

Hey everyone. I know several have been asking HOW BIG AM I? (Especially out of staters) So we finally posted a picture of me at 8 months. Guys I'm not gonna lie...I'm HUGE! ;) (Of course I could always be bigger...but geeze I forgot how far OUT you stretch.) Anyway...the picture is in the gallery in the "New Baby" album. This picture was taken while we were getting the cameras ready for Missy and Todd's wedding. So yes...I am lookin' like a STAR. [Kiss] j/k I really wasn't ready, but oh well. Hope you all enjoy it.



Just a side note...so 44 days til Thanksgiving! (and my official due date) I will be going to the Dr. on Thursday and we will discuss the latest ultrasound and such...So I'll give you an update come Thursday. :)

You're right Mel, it does look like I have a watermelon in there. It looks like it is sitting back to front, but I guarentee that she is actually up and down. (Maybe I've swallowed 2, one up and down and one front to back!) ;)

A Funny Breakfast Story

So I just have to share a funny story from breakfast this morning....we had cereal this morning...of course, since I am so good at getting up and getting something made. (To understand this exactly you have to understand that Mom picked up a bunch of the little cartons of milk for me at Clem's the other day...50 of them, we had used about 30 or 35 of them by this morning.)

The first box of milk I opened to pour into the cereal was fine...Ari, Adam and I all had it in our cereal. Adam wanted more cereal and so we got more and he grabbed another box out of the fridge...he poured some into the cereal and took a bite and spit it out. He said it was really cold so I told him to just eat it because it had been in the fridge...so he took another bite and spit it out and asked if we had gotten elephant milk? I asked why and he said it tasted yucky...but he tried another bite and spit it out. Me being the mom who didn't want him to just throw everything away so he didn't have to eat a new bowl of cereal, told him to just eat it. But also wondering why he asked about elephant milk, I grabbed the carton and went to finish what milk was in it...IT WAS GROSS!!!!!
I spit it out and told Adam not to worry about finishing his breakfast. I was at the sink just rinising my mouth! Adam was right...it was yucky!

It was so funny though...elephant milk...who told him that elephant milk was yucky? I'm still laughing...I'm crying I'm laughing SO hard! :D

I thought you might want to know why he said elephant milk....I finally stopped laughing enough to ask him. He said that he thought it had to be elephant milk because it smelled like an elephant. Funny kid! :P

Baby Countdown

I just had to make a quick blog, besides having an appointment today...I am 32 weeks! We are almost there. :D Anyway, so I am measuring small. (the doctor said "the tummy part" they measure was only measuring 26 weeks) So of course we did an ultrasound today. Just in case, especially after Ari.

I went in for the ultrasound knowing what it could be... (like Ari, the baby isn't growing as well...blah, blah, blah...) However, the good news is she measured fine. Actually, she measured a couple weeks big. :) (ie 34 weeks) She is however, head down, WAY down. (It's sitting on the cervix) So they just assume that it must be the way she is sitting that is making me measure small. Phew! Makes me feel much better. I had been measuring small the last few months, but the Dr. said we would wait and see. So to actually get everyting all checked was a relief.

Anyway...there is the update. And only 8 weeks til the due date! (If we're lucky she'll be early! ;) )

We don't want an Ari, you're right Mel. But if she really is healthy and "done" sooner, why not? :D If she stays the two weeks ahead she'll be 38 weeks by Halloween. ;)
